We are a couple who retired here for many reasons, not the least of which was economy on a limited retirement income. We already had European experience, but we had never been to Portugal. Changing location, buying furniture, negotiating the bureaucracy, driving clear across the country, enjoying the history and culture and scenery and festas and the list goes on!
